The display size has also increased with the fenix 6X at 35.56mm diameter while the fenix 5X plus had 30.4mm diameter. The new fenix 6 also has a better display resolution out 280x280 as opposed to 240x240 on the fenix 5. The other big hardware design difference is the glass on the Pro Solar models.
The Edge 130 (and 130 Plus) support Physio True-Up, so you can continue to record your rides with the Edge (possibly using the Fenix for HR broadcast if you don't have an HR strap), and get updated training effect and recovery times. I have an F6X and an Edge 530. I usually ride with the Edge.

While the Fenix 6 has great battery capacity, the new Fenix 7 has taken battery life and solar efficiency to a new level. Fenix 7’s Smartwatch Mode now boasts a battery life of 18 days, compared to the Fenix 6’s 14 days. It’s Battery Saver Watch Mode lasts 57 days compared to the 6’s 48 days.
so the watch 5 44m can come out to $185 or $275 for the 5 pro. That being said if you want good activity tracking go with the garmin. also for another $100 on amazon. about $440 you can get the 6x sapphire. and we know the sapphire on the garmin has been tried and tested and is dam hard to scratch, compared to some other watches that claim
